Message Level Response (MLR)
The MLR is a message format that is transmitted via the Peppol network. An MLR is sent by the recipient of a document – such as an invoice – as a response to the original sender of this document. The MLR is usually used to transmit validation information to the original sender.
MLR documents can only be received via a Peppol ID registered for inbound communication. If at least one of the Peppol IDs in the table “Peppol IDs” has not yet been registered for inbound communication, a warning notice is displayed.
Note: Receiving an MLR is currently voluntary and does not affect the currently set configuration in any way. If you decide to receive an MLR and save it as a document profile for your Peppol ID, please make sure that your system can already process the MLR.
You can find more information on MLR on our SEEBURGER Blog.
