
Multiple use of the same email address possible
Registering multiple user accounts
Until now, users could not register with different companies in the “SEEBURGER Customer Portal” using the same email address. From now on, users can register and manage multiple user accounts with the same email address.
Either the specified user name or a combination of login context and email address can be used to log in to the “SEEBURGER Customer Portal”. The login context is a prefix to which the email address is added, e.g. “org/j.doe@samplecompany.com”. Administrators of a company can set the login context in the menu item “Company Management” and change it if necessary.
Note: Users who log in via single sign-on (e.g. SAML) do not need to make any adjustments for the new functionality.
Managing multiple user accounts
In the menu item “Clearing Box”, users can see the companies their email address is registered for. They can also assign incoming messages from different applications to the respective companies here in the submenu item “Clearing Cases”. The assignment can be performed manually or using processing rules.
Note: The menu item “Clearing Box” is only displayed to users who have registered multiple user accounts with the same email address. For all other users, this menu item will not be visible.

Wizards for inviting and confirming users have been simplified
In the individual steps of the wizards for inviting and confirming users, steps which do not allow any action on the part of the user are now hidden. This way, the procedure is shortened and simplified.
