Announcement – Roll out of new Peppol SBDH
A new version of the Peppol SBDH will come into effect on January 01, 2024. The new version 2.0 of the Peppol SBDH specification contains extensions to specify the sender’s country code (End User C1, e.g. Seller). The reason for this change is the introduction of mandatory reporting for service providers to Open Peppol. This reporting contains statistics on the number of transferred files by data type as well as by the number of end users in the countries.
The statistics do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the actual users; the data only contains aggregations at the document type/process type and country level of the sender and recipient.
We will provide the new mapping for the SBDH to all customers by the end of the year. Customers with the SEEBURGER E-Invoicing solution or customers who use the SBDH mapping in an individual solution will receive an update. Customers who transfer the files including SBDH to the Cloud service and do not use SEEBURGER mapping will be asked to implement the adaptation until December 31, 2023.
The new version of the SBDH is backward compatible and can therefore be made productive at any time until December 31, 2023.
More information and the specification for the new version can be found here: https://docs.peppol.eu/edelivery/envelope/Peppol-EDN-Business-Message-Envelope-2.0.1-2023-08-17.pdf
We will contact you in a separate letter for the changeover.
