New app “MaKo” for the MaKo Cloud Service
With the changeover of the communication channel in the “electricity” sector to AS4, the Mako Cloud Service is being supplemented by another app. In addition to the already familiar app “MaKo Cockpit Cloud” for monitoring the files that are exchanged via the market communication processes in the “electricity” and “gas” sectors, the app “MaKo” provides an overview of the company’s own data on AS4 communication and the market partners with whom it communicates.
Users of the PARTIN service are already familiar with this app under the previous name “PARTIN Service”. In order to offer synergy effects for users of both the MaKo AS4 service and the PARTIN service and because various data overlaps in both services, the functions have been combined in the app “MaKo”. Depending on the services booked and the respective user authorization, different data is displayed/can be edited.
PARTIN Cloud Service
With the format change on October 1, 2023, additional market roles and the process for transmitting the AS4 communication parameters have been added for sending the PARTIN. The tab “Communication Data” is available for specifying the AS4 communication parameters.

As with the familiar PARTIN data for contacts, the PARTIN is versioned here to track changes. The functionality in the app corresponds to the familiar versioning for the contact data.
The details of the certificate issuer and certificate user must be specified as follows (example structure from MIG):
- Certificate issuer: FTX+Z24+++SERIALNUMBER = 3, C = DE, O = SM-PKI-DE, CN = T-Systems-EnergyCA.CA’
- Certificate user: Example: FTX+Z23+++L = City, SERIALNUMBER = 1, C = DE,OU = Company GmbH, O = SM-PKI-DE,CN = Company.EMT.Extension’
We will extract the data in the app “MaKo” from the certificates and store it in the app.
MaKo Cockpit – New menu item “Transaktionen” for “Full MaKo” customers
In the app “Mako Cockpit Cloud”, the new menu item “Transaktionen” now provides an overview of the data sent and received.

Information on processing was previously only available via the app “B2B Routing”. In the new menu item “Transaktionen”, all messages processed in the service are displayed with information on the processing status and the dispatch status. This means that all information on the status of message processing in the MaKo Cloud can now be viewed centrally via the app “Mako Cockpit Cloud”.

Various selection options are available for searching.
At the detailed level, as with the other selections – such as files – all information is bundled in an overview and links to the associated files are visible.
